The Made in Bristol TV team filmed at the One Smart Day in Bristol 2017 exhibition at the Programme Gallery in Bristol and the feature was broadcast on Friday 3rd November.
Several competition winners were interviewed, including the overall third place winner, Stuart Lees, who won two categories and several hour prizes; Nicholas Whimster whose light-painting whale shot won the Creative Technology prize, and Claire Turner, who won the Nature & Wildlife category judged by BBC TV presenter Michaela Strachan. with her photo of trees taken with an Olloclip fish-eye lens,
Also interviewed was event organiser Megan Witty and Bristol engineer Ray Brown, who was photographed by Duncan Nagle as he took a break from painting Bristol's historic fire ship, Pyronaut. Duncan's photo went on to win the overall second prize!
Ray popped into the exhibition for the filming, wearing the same paint-spattered overalls he wore on competition day and posed in front of Duncan's brilliant prize-winning image - a three-Ray photo!
